There’s nothing better than seeing a yacht in her natural environment, and that makes the Hiswa te Water boat show – which this year takes place over five days from 28 August to 1 September – an absolute must. Held in Bataviahaven, Lelystad – right on the divide between the Markermeer and the Ijsselmeer – Hiswa te Water is Northern Europe’s largest in-water show, with around 400 yachts afloat and with an unmistakably vibrant atmosphere.

With the attractions of the show stretching to sail trials, on-water activities, shoreside exhibitor stands, food and entertainment, and the attractions of Lelystad itself, it’s the perfect summer day out for anyone interested in buying their next boat, or who just loves boating and the water – and it’s also the perfect spot to meet the Holterman team and explore our exquisite models and the exceptional craftsmanship that goes into them.
Indeed, located a mere 70 kilometres from Holterman Shipyard’s home in Meppel, Hiswa te Water is also our natural environment – and our team of friendly representatives will be on hand on the Holterman stand in the show and on our yachts in the marina, ready to talk in detail about what makes a Holterman so special.
That’s not all – this year’s edition of Hiswa te Water will be extra special as one of the stars of the show will be our very own steel-hulled X-65, making her world debut following her recent delivery to her adventurous owner. That owner holds ambitions to cruise Northern Europe and the Norwegian fjords and knew Holterman was the shipyard best placed to build the perfect yacht for that dream.
